 FEORLIG

Feorlig Show Dogs are based in the Chiltern Hills, Aylesbury, Bucks UK. I have been breeding English Springers and Skye Terriers for around 30 years. I have now been joined by my daughter and son, Kirsty and Carl and have introduced Papillons and Basset Hounds to the Feorlig Affix. My first English Springer came as an Easter gift from Jack Bolton and his daughter Morag Bolton-Lockhart and she was named Miss Jennifer Of Feorlig. Next as an engagment present, came the beautiful Pencloe Clearway of Feorlig who was to become a wonderful foundation of our lines! Clearway was mated to Sh.Ch Lochardils Ghillie of Bramhope and produced the lovely litter of Sh.Ch Feorlig Beautiful Memory, Feorlig Breakaway and Feorlig Bannerman. We then used her on the great Sh,Ch Hawkhill Connaught and she gave the well known Golden litter. This was Sh.Ch Feorlig Golden Griffen and Sh.Ch Feorlig Golden Gayle We then brought in Merriveen April Gold at Feorlig who gave us the most beautiful dog in Sh.Ch Feorlig Van Der Valk. At Feorlig we have succesfully mixed American and English Bloodlines. We mated an American bred bitch owned by a couple serving in the U.S.A.F to Van. This produced Miss American Pie at Feorlig who in turn has given us one of Europe's most succesful Springers in Walter Weber's Multi Ch Feorlig Fly Me To The Stars. Over the years in Springers we have owned and bred 15 UK Show Champions and many other Champions across the world.

Skye Terriers came to me after the English Springers and over the years with Kirsty, we have been very succesful. My first Skye was from Muirel Bailey called Marjayn Magic Moments at Feorlig, she did well gaining a couple of RCC's but she decided never to grow her coat, so always looked like a baby. We then introduced the Ch.Reignmakers Rumours Rising at Feorlig into our Kennels and from then on we have never looked back. He has been the main foundation to the Skyes we have today and from him we have produced 4 Skyes Champions, Ch Feorlig Wind in the Willows and her daughter and son, Ch Feorlig Glance My Way and Ch Feorlig Give Me A Reason who was the Dog CC winner at Crufts 2008. Most recently we have made up, Ch Feorlig Something Wicked. Kirsty introduced Papillons into the family in 1997 with a lovley little girl from Roger and Jean Banfield called Kingshaven Over the Moon to Feorlig. Not knowing about Papillons, we fed her like a Springer and as you can imagine she became a little to big for the show ring. However she was mated to Ch Ringlands Hologram and from then on we have never looked back and now have the beautiful lines we have today! Recently we have just bred our first Papillon Champions, in Ch Feorlig Midnight In Georgia JW ShCM and Pat Munn's beautiful 'Sunshine' Ch Feorlig Picture Perfect at Ringlands. We also have others on CC's and RCC's. Basset Hounds are Carl's favorite breed so we brought him one from the Fredwell Kennels, she was a sweet little bitch who did well in the ring. We now have a gorgeous bitch from Phil Freer called Switherland Double Delight at Feorlig JW who has gained a RCC. Please feel free to look around our site and leave a message in our guestbook!
